Matanot Levyonim - Humanitarian Aid Fund

On Purim day, it is a mitzvah to give charity to at least two needy fellow Jews (this is known as matanot l'evyonim). Ideally, this should be done by giving money to people in your own community on Purim day.

Please join us and donate money to the poor this Purim. All donations will go to local charities and families in need.

Jewish Encinitas receives multiple phone calls a week to help with homeless, hungry, sick, and needy people. Often times we drop everything we are doing to prepare a meal for them, deliver it, pick up this person and find and/or pay for a safe place for them to stay. This is only possible if there is funds in our humanitarian aid account.

Please donate in advance to provide enough time for funds to be distributed on Purim day.
